In 1982

In 1982, Anton Sigriner, a technical engineer from Bavaria, Germany, founded a company in his garage. He decided to name the company following his name, and to endorse the quality of the products by his family’s honor. SIGRINER was one of the first companies to use microprocessors for elevator control in the elevator industry.

In August 1999, SIGRINER was moved to the Hirschwinkel industrial campus in Altötting, driving the company into another level in R&D and manufacturing.

In 2003

In 2003, SIGRINER and Shanghai STEP formed an alliance, jointly established new STEP SIGRINER company. Both R&D teams from China and Germany complemented each other and jointly developed drive and control products. In 2003, STEP SIGRINER increased its investment in drive technology, and cooperated with the Chinese team to develop a new generation of Inverter drives with energy-saving and high-efficiency.

In 2013

In 2013, SIGRINER passed ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified by TUV, and its enterprise management level was recognized.
SIGRINER has applied some key technologies of variable frequency drive to the development of servo products, and started servo EM series products.

In 2019

On November 2, 2019, SIGRINER officially moved to the Mühldorf Industrial campus, been prepared for the development of new products for general inverter drive and motion controls.

In 2020

In March 2020, SIGRINER registered a specific trademark for high-end products of general inverter drive and motion controls and taken part in the high-end intelligent manufacturing. In 2020, SIGRINER launched new products with the new brand, including E6 series intelligent and flexible variable frequency drive and Ω6 series high-end motion controls.
